Flamenco Borealis returns to The Bassment with a new production that celebrates solitude, fate, friendship, desire, freedom, and lightness of being. Alas (wings) travels through the landscape of human emotion on the wings of soaring vocals and sweeping braceo (arm movements). Featuring fusion and traditional flamenco with piano, guitar, percussion, vocals, and dance, Alas will be the opening performance of this year’s Borealis Flamenco Festival.
