Join celebrated Flamenco singer Celedonio Garrido from Spain in this highly engaging 2-day flamenco singing workshop. This workshop is part of the Borealis Flamenco Festival 2020. Explore some basics of the vast world of Flamenco singing. Highly recommended for singers of other genres who want to get exposed to this expressive singing style. Also highly recommended for flamenco dancers and flamenco musicians given the intimate and intricate relationship between Flamenco dance, song and music. Flamenco lovers from any background and beginners are also welcome. Based in Seville, Spain, Celedonio (biography) is no stranger to Saskatoon, having lived and performed here in the past few years. He is a powerful performer gifted with a very melodic and expressive voice. Also a very generous teacher and mentor, he inspires with his contageous energy. We look forward to having him back as a performer and a singing teacher during the next edition of the Borealis Flamenco Festival.
